UI Architect

Description:  One of our clients in Albany, NY is in need of a User Interface Architect.  Redesign of a large computer system to improve the user experience, increase efficiency and enhance resultant outcomes.
 

Skills:  Web design, WPF
 
MANDATORY SKILL/EXPERTISE

• Bachelor*s degree
• Minimum of 8 years experience in designing, developing or managing user interface development standards for large scale computer applications

DESIRABLE SKILL/EXPERTISE

• Experience using common Infragistics WPF controls
• Good communication and interpersonal skills 
• Bachelors degree in either Web Design, Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Computer Human Interaction, Technical Communications or a related field 
• 4 years solid experience in one or more of the following areas: web design, UI & interaction design, information architecture, usability experience
• 4 years experience with Web and Web technologies
• Professional portfolio of work that demonstrates a commanding knowledge of user centered design and architecture 
• 4 years experience in the application of UX principles in the use of rapid prototyping skills to design and develop UI mockups, screen flows and interactive models
• 4 years experience working as part of a team with excellent cross-team collaboration and communication skills
• 4 years experience developing new approaches to complex design problems and the conveyance of ideas into tangible form
