Mandatory Requirements:
4 years minimum experience managing the development of applications and systems components
 
 
Desirable Requirements:

  • Strong communications skills both written and verbal as presented in an interview where the candidate will demonstrate the required knowledge, skill sets and abilities as indicated in the Contractor's Proposal. In addition, the candidate will demonstrate the ability to mentor and coach staff to improve their technical skills 
  • Demonstrated experience defining and managing project scope statements and development approach documents
  • Demonstrated experience creating and maintaining project schedules using project scheduling software (Primavera P6 software most preferable)
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating project team member activities according to approved project scope, development approach, and project schedul 
  • Demonstrated experience creating and maintaining project risks and project issues logs 
  • Demonstrated experience managing the resolution of technical or business issues raised by project stakeholders
  • Demonstrated experience managing project artifacts, i .e, design documents, requirements, test plans, and program code, using configuration management software (Rational Clear Case most preferable)
  • Demonstrated experience developing regular project status report 
  • Demonstrated experience planning, developing agendas and conducting regular project status meetings and working meetings with project stakeholders
  • Demonstrated experience as a J2EE Application Developer
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience developing applications using Service Oriented Architecture principles and related technologies
  • Demonstrated experience working with Oracle RDMS 9i and 10g
  • Demonstrated experience using Rational Application Developer (RAD), and/or Rational Software Architect (RSA 
  • Demonstrated experience using WebSphere Application Server (WAS) or AIX runtime environments
