ETL Developer

Skills:  Oracle' stat integrator products, Data warehouse, ETL, Oracle, ERD, ERWIN,
 
Duration:  18 months
 

MANDATORY EXPERIENCE

• At least eight (8) years IT experience, with a minimum of two (2) years experience in each of the following: developing in Oracle*s Data Integrator product, which includes load strategies for relational, Type 1, 2, and 3 SCD; working with Oracle version 9i or later; and writing and tuning PL-SQL and SQL+.
• Experience as a technical team lead responsible for the design and architecture of the ETL components of a data warehouse. * Overall architectural design * Strategy of on-going design Migration from development to production
• Experience leading ETL development on a large data warehouse including the development, implementation and ongoing support of automated load and validations processes.
• Experience writing technical specifications such as source to target maps and architectural design documents.
• Experience extracting data from multiple sources such as Oracle, text files, XMS and MS Access. 

ASSOCIATED SKILL SETS
Candidates must also have at least four (4) of the preferred skilled sets listed below:

1. Experience in data modeling including experience: * creating normalized Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERD*s) * dimensional models using data modeling tools such as ERWIN or PowerDesigner
2. Business/System analysis skills
3. Good writing skills
4. Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
5. Ability to work directly with business users
