One of our clients in Albany, NY is seeking a Data Architect

The Data Architect’s role will be to develop a strategy to integrate data and provide a comprehensive view of data for research.

Key Requirement:
Project has a challenge with 3 disparate data sources which need to be tied together with a common identifier. Candidate with this experience would be ideal.

MANDATORY EXPERIENCE

1. Candidate must have at least eight (8) years' IT experience, including at least four (4) years' experience
defining Logical and Physical data models for OLTP systems.

2. Five (5) years' experience designing data warehouse schemas (star and snow-flake).

3. Strong knowledge of database design to achieve integration of different data structure from
multiple sources.

ASSOCIATED SKILL SETS

1. Five (5) years' experience with MS SQL Server (MS Certification a plus).

2. Eight (8) years' experience with Oracle (OCP certifications a plus).

3. Experience with XML.

4. Demonstrated understanding of Data Administration principles and development of corresponding
standards.

5. Knowledge of ETL practices and ETL Tools.

6. Experience in object relational mapping and UML modeling.

7. Understanding of J2EE and EJBs.

8. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a larger team.
